Cookie notice
Two functional cookies. No advertising trackers.

What we use
ConvertNicely sets two functional cookies. The first holds a random identifier that links your browser to the conversions you started, so you can return to a result and we can apply fair-use limits. The second is set only when you log in, and keeps you signed in. Neither contains personal information and neither is shared with anyone. The first expires after 30 days. The second expires after 30 days without use, and after six months whatever you do, so signing in again is eventually required.
We also use your browser’s local storage, which is not a cookie and never leaves your device, for two things: your light or dark theme choice, and any signatures you ask the PDF editor to remember.
What we do not use
- No advertising cookies.
- No cross-site tracking or fingerprinting.
- No analytics that sets a cookie or identifies you.
Usage statistics
We count how many conversions of each type run and how long they take, so we know what to improve. These counts are kept on our servers with the job record, not tied to you, and never include file contents.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure how quickly pages load. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not build a profile of you or follow you across other sites.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. The first cookie is how we know a result belongs to you. If you block it, your upload will still be accepted, but you will not be able to check progress or download the result.
Advertising
If we introduce advertising in future, we will publish a consent mechanism first and update this page before any advertising cookie is set.
