Edit & Sign PDF Files

A real editor, not a form. Your document is rendered in the browser and you work on it directly — retype a wrong name, add a note, sign it by hand, stamp today's date, tick the boxes on a form, highlight a clause, turn a page the right way up. Nothing is flattened into a picture: the text you did not touch stays selectable and searchable, the graphics stay sharp, and every page keeps its size.

What do you want to do?

Your PDF opens right here in your browser. Nothing is uploaded until you press Save PDF. Files up to 50 MB are accepted.

Your files are deleted automatically

Uploads are removed as soon as processing finishes, and converted files are deleted after 1 hour. Read our privacy policy.

How to edit & sign PDF files

  1. Step 1

    Open your PDF

Pick your PDF. It opens in this browser, and nothing is uploaded until you save.

  2. Step 2

    Make your changes

Choose a tool from the toolbar: replace or add text, add an image or your signature, draw, highlight, rotate or delete pages.

  3. Step 3

    Press Save PDF

Your document is uploaded once, and your edits are applied on our servers.

  4. Step 4

    Download your PDF file

Your upload is already deleted, and the result is deleted after one hour.

Worth knowing

Editing existing text has limits. Replacement text does not reflow, so the words around it stay where they are. The original typeface usually cannot be reused, because a PDF embeds only the letters it already contains; a standard font is substituted and the size, colour and weight are kept. Text in a scan is a picture of words and cannot be edited, though you can add text over it. Password-protected PDFs are refused; unlock them first.

Why edit & sign PDF files?

  • Signing a contract or a form and dating it, without printing it
  • Correcting a name, date or figure in a document you cannot regenerate
  • Filling in a form that was sent as a flat PDF with no fields — text, ticks and all
  • Marking up a contract with highlights and notes before sending it back
