Crop Images
Drag a rectangle over your picture, or pick a ratio like 1:1 or 16:9 and let the crop size itself. Nothing is scaled and nothing is resampled — the pixels you keep are the originals, at their original detail — and the file comes back in the format it went in as. Crop a batch at once, each to the same part of itself.

How to crop images
Step 1
1. Add your files
Drag up to 20 JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, BMP, TIFF or GIF files into the box, or choose them from your device. Each can be up to 50 MB.
Step 2
2. Choose the area to keep
Drag the frame on the preview, or type an exact Width and Height in pixels. Crop to (Any shape) can also hold the frame to a ratio such as 1:1 or 16:9. More settings are under Advanced options.
Step 3
3. Press Crop images
The work happens on our servers, and you can follow its progress.
Step 4
4. Download the result
Each file comes back in the format it went in; several come together in a ZIP. Your upload is already deleted, and the result is deleted after one hour.
Worth knowing
Cropping only removes; it never scales. A 1200 by 628 crop is 1200 by 628 pixels of the original, so asking for an area larger than the image is refused rather than stretched to fit. In a batch, the area you choose is measured on the first image and the same part of every other image is taken. That keeps mixed sizes predictable, but when the shapes differ a ratio is usually the better choice.
