Flip & Rotate an Image
A photo that came out sideways, a horizon that leans, a scan that needs mirroring, a batch all turned the wrong way: this turns by a quarter-turn, flips across either axis, or straightens by any angle up to 45°, and hands the image back in the format it arrived in — an animated GIF, WebP or AVIF stays animated, with every frame turned. Add a file and the preview shows the result as you go, with buttons to turn and flip it in one click. Quarter-turns and flips are lossless; straightening resamples the picture, and the corners it uncovers are cropped off or filled, as you choose.

How to flip & rotate an image
Step 1
1. Add your files
Drag up to 20 JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, BMP, TIFF, GIF or AVIF files into the box, or choose them from your device. Each can be up to 50 MB.
Step 2
2. Choose your settings
Adjust Rotate (None), Flip (None), Straighten (0°), Quality (85%) and Remove metadata (on), or keep the starting values in brackets, which suit most files. Some choices show further settings. The preview shows how it will look before you start.
Step 3
3. Press Flip & Rotate an Image
The work happens on our servers, and you can follow its progress.
Step 4
4. Download the result
Each file comes back in the format it went in; several come together in a ZIP. Your upload is already deleted, and the result is deleted after one hour.
Worth knowing
Every frame of an animation is turned, but an exceptionally long or large one — over 80 megapixels across all its frames — comes back as its first frame, and the result tells you. A TIFF with several pages, or a HEIC holding several images, is turned as its first image only. The preview shows the first image you add; every image gets the same settings.
